The iAssay® test menu is expandable by design. iAssay has tested and validated POC tests for cardiology, hematology, OB/GYN, infectious disease, and oncology. Test results typically come from a patient fingerstick or urine sample and are available in The Cloud from seconds to minutes. No sample delivery by visiting nurse, no patient visits to a lab, no phlebotomist, no Lab pick-up.
When COVID-19 hit, because of the flexible open iAssay platform was able to quickly begin identifying and working with strip partners to onboard several COVID-19 serology strips to be read by a the CyberReader instead of manually by looking at control and test lines visually. Adaptors were designed, calibration was performed, validation was successfully performed with characterized patient samples. Following a listing as a reader for strips on a joint FDA Emergency Use Authorization (EUA), iAssay and partners will begin the commercial product roll-out for COVID-19 serology testing. Post COVID-19 emergency, iAssay will continue to scale with an expanding menu and subsequent placements.
iAssay has developed a HIPAA compliant internet portal as a standard IT offering for clients. Using the iAssay portal, test results are stored by accession number with date/time stamp, test results, and for strip testing, an image of the strip. If there is ever a question, the image can be referenced with the data. iAssay also plans to offer connections to electronic health records and directly to state and federal health agencies for tracking patient progress during the pandemic, and post-pandemic.
